This NEW  OPEN competition is organised by the UK's fastest growing martial arts network and should be an excellent competition for all DMA students to compete in. Below is some information from M.A.Network UK, students can get the application forms from their school Instructor. 

Dear Instructor/Students, We at Martial Arts Network UK are now forming a new professional competition circuit throughout the South of England and are very happy that you and your students have shown interest in participating. As this competition circuit grows we will be adding different categories and efficient systems to make our competitions enjoyable, not only for the competitors but for all their friends and families who are supporting them. We look forward to building a truly universal mixed martial arts event and are always open to suggestions. We know that it would be impossible to keep everyone happy but our aim is to work very hard in organising a well run and unique new circuit .Your opinion is very important to us so we  will give all Instructors a survey form to fill in after the competition. 

Bad behaviour and bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated at our new competitions. The days of the Instructor/coach and parents arguing and being aggressive in front of everyone are over.  Please ensure that you only register official coaches who understand the official rules, as only they will be allowed on the competition rings. All our officials will be briefed on the rules and procedures that we use to make this an enjoyable event that should run smoothly and all will want to come back for.      Below is all the information on the forthcoming competition. Competition Schedule:Please note these times are only a guideline and can change depending on the amount of entries. 

Officials meet: 9.00am prompt (if you do not attend this meeting you will not be able to coach no exceptions) 

Doors open 9.15am juniors weigh in 9.15-10am only Competition Start 10am juniors only

Guideline to order of events for juniors:   

            ·         High kicking·         Traditional Weapons·         Musical patterns/ weapons novice and advance (1minute 15 seconds max)·         Patterns (lower grades first mixed girls and boys)·         Point Stop Pee Wee (lower grades first)·         Sparring continuous (lower grades first)·         Tag Team (green belts and above only see below)  Model Sparring and New Kickboxing
